Victuallers launches Special Edition Rhubarb & Bergamot Gin

This seasonal release comes in at 38% ABV and uses 9 botanicals including rhubarb, bergamot and kumquat.

These sweet and sharp flavours have been balanced with the more traditional gin botanicals including juniper, angelica, cassia bark and lemongrass to create a smooth, balanced and moreish gin: "Combining our love of gins with a dryer and zestier finish, we think we’ve created something quite special with this one. It’s got all the layers and complexity you find in a traditional gin, with a zesty sharpness from the bergamot that balances beautifully with the bittersweet and tart flavours of rhubarb."  

Unlike many rhubarb gins it’s been distilled to the one-shot method and blended to bottling strength with unfiltered pressed rhubarb juice in place of blending water for a sharp earthy freshness and a naturally pink colour.  

Tasting notes
Expect a nose full of bright fruity rhubarb flavours with an unexpected earthiness on the palate. Sharp citrus notes are balanced with sweet rhubarb. A dry finish.

Best Served
Plenty of ice and premium Indian tonic water. Garnish with a slice of orange and a piece of fresh ginger.
