Thatchers Cider launches Juicy Apple to the on-trade
Thatchers Juicy Apple is descibed as the ultimate blend of sun-drenched apples and 100% renewable electricity. Mouth-wateringly sweet, crisp, and happily appley in every drop.
The fresh new flavour is powered by sunshine, made using 100% renewable electricity, including power generated from the 3,500 solar panels at Myrtle Farm, it’s as good for the environment as it tastes in the glass.
Juicy Apple, which is exclusively available in bars, clubs and pubs, has a 4% ABV, and vibrant look and feel for great bar stand out.
As the latest cider to join the Thatchers range, Juicy Appleis created to taste as the name sounds, a feeling of biting into a crisp, juicy apple with sweetness bursting through.
Made by Thatchers’ expert cider makers, drawing on the family-owned company’s four generations of expertise, they have created a delicately light cider, with a hint of sour balancing the sweetness you’d expect from beautiful eating apples.
Thatchers Juicy Apple takes its distinctive aroma from the apples that are pressed, fermented and blended to create this 4.0% cider, including Katy and Jonagold.
Martin Thatcher, fourth-generation cider maker, said; “This brand-new cider, which began life in our Cider Barn range, reflects the demand from British consumers for a light, crisp cider, that provides refreshment with a gentle bite. This easy-drinking cider is ideal for those discovering apple cider for the first time, and fits into our range alongside Gold, Haze, Blood Orange and Apple & Blackcurrant.

The cider is made at Thatchers home in Somerset, Myrtle Farm, where sustainable developments are helping to reduce the company’s impact on the environment. The latest innovation sees the CO2 produced in the fermentation process, captured and used to add lovely bubbles to the cider.
Thatchers Juicy Apple is available to serve now, and every new install will receive a bespoke, targeted, social media campaign to drive footfall to their venue.
