NOUGHTY drives alcohol-free wine revolution this Summer
Through Club Mirror, Thomson & Scott is offering clubs special trade pricing on three cases of 6 bottles or more.
Praised by wine critics and drinks experts, NOUGHTY has become the go-to option for wine lovers who want to balance their alcohol intake. For every occasion where there will be attendees who are tempering their alcohol or not drinking, NOUGHTY offers the perfect pour.
Leading the explosion in choice for those looking for upscale alcohol alternatives, not only does it offer customers a better choice than sugary soft drinks or water, but it also offers a good margin for the bar, as many who choose to drink Noughty while their friends drinking alcoholic wine, will stay longer during an evening. This results in bigger bar spend from those drinking as everyone can relax and not rush off home.
Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay and Sparkling Rosé are made in Germany from organic grapes grown in La Mancha in Southern Spain. The wines are produced as alcoholic wines and then expertly dealcoholized to retain all the notes and taste you’d expect from an organic sparkling wine alternative to Champagne.
The stills wines – Noughty Rouge, Blanc and Rosé - are made on the Western Cape of South Africa from grapes harvested from dryland farmed vineyards in Darling. The grapes are grown in strategically selected sites, which get both the warm sun and cooling effect of the Atlantic Ocean. Deep soils from decomposed granite and rich clay help to provide good drainage.
“There’s certainly been a considerable shift, in the last two years, with more and more people taking care of themselves and considering their health and well-being much more, not only physically, but also mentally,” says Noughty creator and company Founder & CEO Amanda Thomson.
“I also think that the growth of alcohol-free options in the broader beer and spirit sector of the drinks industry has certainly helped encourage people to consider non-alcoholic options in a way that they might not have done five years ago.
“I’ve added premium wine to the mix now. We have become a top seller at many stylish bars, hotels and restaurants, alongside household name drinks brands, very quickly which proves that the consumers love it and keep coming back for more.”
