ECB official kit supplier Castore has donated £150,000 worth of cricket and training kit to support women’s and girls’ cricket across England and Wales.
The donation has resulted in thousands of T-shirts and training tops being distributed through every Recreational Cricket Board (RCB), as well as kit being donated to participants and spectators at the African Caribbean Cricket Festival, helping to equip players and clubs at grassroots level and supporting the continued growth of the women’s and girls’ game.
The initiative builds on the momentum generated by a landmark summer for women’s cricket and reflects a shared commitment from ECB and Castore to make the game more accessible, inclusive and welcoming for women and girls across the recreational game.
The donated items include T-shirts from Castore’s collaboration with renowned designer Morag Myerscough, whose bold and colourful designs were created to celebrate women’s cricket and inspire the next generation of players and fans.
