Ethnic bites for all occasions
Brand Innovations’ hand-made DelhiBITES are ethnic snacks that are claimed to offer an authentic, true taste of India and use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
A 100-Piece Cocktail Selection Pack offers 25 pieces of each of four snacks and comprises vegetable Samosas, vegetable pakoras, onion bhajis and spring rolls. They are suitable for vegetarians, Halal-approved and free-from artificial flavours, colours and preservatives, claims Brand Innovations.

Counter-top boiler keeps out of sight
The Instanta UCD12 under-counter water boiler is the latest addition to Instanta’s UCD range. It is capable of producing up to 168 cups (28 litres) of hot water per hour and it sits out of sight, with just a chrome and stainless steel pushbutton font visible on on the counter-top.
The unit measures 540mm(h) x 360mm(w) x 415mm(d) boiler and can be programmed to deliver either a measured amount of water, or water on demand, as desired. After a 35-minute heat-up period, the water is kept at a constant 95°C, but can be reduced to 80°C as necessary.

How to store plates
Versa Dish caddies from Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) can hold both square and round plates and offer secure, adjustable, high-capacity storage, keeping the plates clean and chip-free.
Two sizes are available, the DCS950 and the DCS1125. The former holds five columns of between 45 and 60 round plates of up to 9.5in in diameter (or 8in diameter square plates). The latter holds four columns of round plates up to 11.25in in diameter (or up to 9.5in for square plates).
There are full-length side openings on both models, making it easy to remove plates, even from the bottom; and because the new design uses durable polyethylene, which is less bulky, the plates get the protection they need and storage capacity is maximised.
Both caddies are mobile thanks to swivel casters.

Seriously Strong Cheddar portions
Seriously Strong Spreadable Portions, are launched in next month by Lactalis McLelland.
The new 17g spreadable portions are claimed to be the first single-serve spreadable cheese portions in foodservice made with Seriously Strong Cheddar. Its intense, mature taste is said to appeal to adults and is a practical alternative to solid cheese portions.
Seriously Strong Cheddar is the UK’s number two Cheddar brand. Last year it experienced growth of 31 per cent. Since its launch into retail in 2006 it has proved popular with consumers, experiencing a 216 per cent growth in the last year.
The new Cheddar portions are claimed to be ideal for buffets.
